QUICK-DISCONNECT
COUPLINGS |

Indi-Lok
Indi-lok couplings provide quick connect/disconnect
capability with self-sealing action and superior performance
during operation and maintenance of fluid systems. They
are compatible with all standard and many exotic fluids
currently used in today's high technology aerospace, ground
and undersea systems.
Indi-lok couplings are available in a wide variety of temperature
and pressure ranges and are recommended where limited access
requires visual and/or touch indication and assurance of
a fully coupled and safety locked position. |

Non-Latching
Automatic couplings are recommended for
use with today's advanced precision fluid systems for space
flight, aircraft, ground and undersea applications. Current
applications include; electronic cooling systems, hydraulic
accumulators/cylinders, brake systems, manifolds, vapor
cycle and cryogenic systems. Automatic couplings are best
utilized where space is limited, and hands off operation
are required.
Sub-miniature couplings offer proven high performance in
a very compact size. Designed specifically for use in liquid
flow through modules (of Standard Electronics size) and
similar constructions. These units can be used in even the
smallest of plug-in electronics cooling applications.

Slide-Lok
Slide-Lok couplings are very similar to
Indi-Lok couplings except for the mechanical indicators
that are present on the Indi-Lok coupling design. Slide-Lok
couplings are used in a variety of applications including
military and commercial aircraft, rocket launching systems,
marine applications, Formula-One race cars, as well as many
others. |

Single
Shut Off Couplings
Single shut-off couplings are recommended
for use on fluid systems requiring the self-sealing valving
on one side of connections only. The single shut-off couplings
mate with standard fluid fitting ends and other precision
aerospace fittings. These couplings are available in lightweight
aluminum for low-pressure applications and CRES or titanium
for high-pressure applications. |

Thread-Lok
Thread-lok couplings provide today's aerospace
fluid handling systems with quick disconnect capability,
self-sealing action and visual/touch indication of a fully
coupled position. Thread-lok couplings offer simple one
hand operation and reliable performance for use during the
maintenance of fluid handling systems. The thread-together
coupling provides the mechanical advantage required for
coupling under higher pressures. |

Motor Racing QD's
Motor Racing QD's are very similar to Indi-Lok couplings except for the mechanical indicators that are present on the Indi-Lok coupling design. Motor Racing QD's are used in a variety of applications including military and commercial aircraft, rocket launching systems, marine applications, Formula-One racecars, as well as many others. |

Break-Away
Valves
Proven lifesavers, Stratoflex breakaway valves separate
under crash loads on fluid lines exceeding a predetermined
value. Upon separation, the valves automatically seal the
fluids in the lines to effectively prevent spills. Breakaway
valves are typically used on fuel lines, main fuel tanks,
aircraft auxiliary fuel tanks, air-to-air refueling systems,
and fall away external tanks. Tank vent lines often use
the single valve versions. |

HYDRAULIC FUSES & FLOW REGULATORS |

Hydraulics engineers
at commercial aircraft OEM's such as Boeing and Airbus have
depended on Waterman hydraulic fuses and flow regulators
for many years. Flow regulators limit the rate of flow in
hydraulic lines to predetermined ranges, regardless of variations
in system pressure or workload. Waterman flow regulators
are used to insure proper landing gear operation in most
Boeing commercial jets flying today.
Hydraulic fuses work much like their electrical counterparts.
Hydraulic fuses protect systems from damage due to loss
of reservoir fluid or ruptured tubes, hoses, or other components. |
